Cheltenham Racecourse 2015
The new grandstand project was awarded to main contractor Kier at an original total value of £45 million. The contract encompassed the construction of new member’s facilities, new bar areas, additional toilets, improved viewing of the course and parade ring and additional grandstand capacity for 6,500 people together with a new Royal Box. The new grandstand replaces an original building constructed in the 1920s.
Clifton Cathedral
Smiths Asbestos Removal were sub-contracted by William Anelay Ltd to carry out the works on the roof of Clifton Cathedral.
Regents Arcade, Cheltenham
The project comprised of the demolition of Toy World and the shop units below at Regents Arcade, Cheltenham.

Frampton Country Fair, 2015
Frampton Country Fair took place on Sunday 13th September 2015 at Frampton Court Estate. Smiths Event Waste Management team were on hand to cover all waste management needs throughout all 30 acres of the park during the Country Fair.
Cheltenham Racecourse (Demolition)
Smiths Demolition team were employed to undertake the demolition and asbestos removal works of the Tote Stand, the See You Then Bar and various other buildings within the new development area.
Netheridge Annex
Four operatives from Smiths Demolition team were challenged with dismantling and disposing of nine redundant exhaust outlets from the engines which had been removed from Netheridge Sewage Treatment Works, Gloucester. They had previously been used as a backup if power failed to the main pumps. The dismantling process involved chain lifting blocks, pallet trucks and an overhead crane.
Sainsburys, Penzance
Construction of a Sainsburys superstore on the former Isles of Scilly Heliport at the seat front, Penzance.
Cotswold BMW, Cheltenham
Construction of a new central Headquarters for BMW and Mini Dealership to serve both Cheltenham and Gloucester. The Dealership will be located at the Cheltenham end of the Golden Valley Bypass adjacent to the Park-and-Ride site, in a green field location.
Cannington Court
This project is for EDF's European training centre and is built in and around a 900 year old Grade I Listed building. The building has had a lot of archaeological interest due to its changing use from a Benedictine Nunnery to its present day use.
CLA Game Fair 2015
Smiths Event Waste Management Team provided 600 wheelie bins, 4 RCV's (waste collection lorries) and 4 Groundhog/ Gators (4x4 small tractor vehicles) with trailers to ensure that the site was kept clean throughout set up, event days and breakdown. Smiths ensured that the site was prepared for the expected 1500 Exhibitors and 150,000 visiting public during the 3 day events.
