Sapling Plantation at The National Star College

Three members of our team joined Galliford Try to take part in a sapling planting initiative at The National Star College.

The National Star College is one of sixteen educational institutions across the UK selected to participate in the ‘Nature Friendly Grounds’ pilot, which focuses on enhancing sustainability and biodiversity.

To support this initiative, GCC has donated a significant number of saplings to the college. Rebecca Pullin (Director), Alan Ball (Fleet Support Officer) and James Godwin (Bid Manager) for Smiths managed to plant over 1000 saplings on the day.
