The team made it through the group stages well, meaning they were onto the quarter final;

The quarterfinals finished 2-2, it came down to penalties. After the first 3 penalties for both teams were all scored, it went to sudden death. On the second sets of sudden death penalties, our team got the save they needed, putting them through to the Semi-finals 5-4.

After what was a very competitive Semi-final, it once again came down to penalties after the game finished it another 2-2 draw. The first set of penalties saw Smiths go 1-0 down. The second set of penalties were scored by both teams meaning it was 2-1 going into the last set. Up stepped our very own Kate Sitarek. who scored to make it 2-2. After that our goalie pulled off a good save to take it to sudden death.

The first set of sudden death penalties saw both team score, making it 3-3. Next up was our Paul Tamlin who scored to make it 4-3.

In the final we played CJM, but our team didn’t get the start they wanted, as they went 1-0 down early in the game. Unfortunately, midway through the first half CJM scored again to make it 2-0. In the second half CJM were starting to get a hold of the ball a lot more putting pressure on our goal, forcing a number of saves. Then with only a couple of minutes left on the clock, CJM managed to score again, tucking in a rebound from a save, making it 3-0.
