Job Description.
  • Check Artic Drivers daily log sheets & mark them off on check sheet each day.
  • Collate transport tickets (PoD’s) check they are correct and match loads completed.
  • If duplicate tickets (PoD’s) required, pursue final conclusion.
  • Audit tickets: weights, registration, date, load & tip destinations are correct.
  • Complete Driver Holiday Spread sheet.
  • Assist with driver communication as and when required.
  • Emailing external & internal customers each evening with load lists/manifest for that day.
  • Mark off log sheet against Daily routing and make changes if needed.
  • External invoicing – weekly/Daily.
  • Internal invoicing – weekly/Daily.
  • Bank holiday cover if required with appropriate notice given.
  • Completing drivers’ hours to Payroll in Transport Managers absence.
  • Send invoice reports monthly/Weekly/Daily to Managers.
  • Support the operational team with administrative support, as and when needed, subject to time availability
  • Good PC skills to include popular office applications such as Word and Excel as well as the ability to learn in house applications and packages.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of excel and be used to manipulating and creating spreadsheets.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the company.
  • Professional, confident and well organised with the ability to prioritise.
  • Capable of working to deadlines.
  • Accurate typing skills with attention to detail.
  • Good team player capable of taking ownership of area and tasks and also able to work on own initiative
