To strengthen our continually expanding Waste Management division, we have increased our recycling activities to include: metal, wood, aggregate, concrete, paper, cardboard, glass, soil and composting.
Smiths (Gloucester) Ltd has become a major force within the waste management & recycling sector with three operational centres throughout the Gloucestershire and Avon regions. Smiths are continually investing in the latest technology and systems as part of our commitment to reducing waste to landfill and increasing recycling.
2006 has seen the opening of a new plastic recycling centre at our Moreton Valence site in Gloucester. This large site has the technologies to process almost all plastics ranging from construction and civic amenity sites to farms, nurseries and garden centres from domestic sites to retail and industrial premises.
