| Smith's Complete M5 Motorway Link | |
| Smith's have just completed this multi-million pound project in association with Norwest Holst, the main contractor, for major alterations to the Gloucester Southern M5 Motorway Link.
Our Sub Contract Earth Works Package involved the importation of 50,000m³ of general fill and some 120,000 tonnes of capping stone to construct two additional slip roads and alterations to the existing B4408. During the course of the project we were awarded the additional contracts for the drainage package and the excavation of bridle way under passes. This key project attracted significant attention from the local community and the media. We are delighted to say that the project was completed on time and with minimal disruption. |
