We are concentrating our efforts on raising funds to support The James Hopkins Trust. Established in Gloucestershire in 1989 JHT provide care for babies and children up to the age of 5 who have a life limiting or life threatening condition while supporting their families.
More information on the James Hopkins Trust can be found here: http://www.jameshopkinstrust.org.uk/
The James Hopkins Trust are currently supporting over 90 children in Gloucestershire, including Simon and Helen’s daughter, Poppy. We recently learned that Poppy has a rare genetic (non-hereditary) disorder that affects brain development resulting in severe mental and physical disability, called Rett syndrome. There is no cure for Rett syndrome so treatment focuses on managing the symptoms.
More information on Rett syndrome can be found here: http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/rett-syndrome/Pages/introduction.aspx
A team of 14 members of staff have entered the Tough Mudder on Saturday 19th August at Badminton. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

We will be organising and participating in a number of events throughout the year but welcome your suggestions for ways in which we can help support The James Hopkins Trust.
