Smiths Gloucester Ltd have chosen to support a charity very close to the Smith family for 2017.
Toby Dinwoodie who turned 7 in October suffers from tuberous sclerosis, a rare genetic condition that causes tumours to develop in various parts of the body.
Toby has tumours on his heart and brain which means he is unable to walk or talk, suffers from seizures and needs 24 hour care. Toby’s mum, Jenny, was born in Eastington and was Helen, Paul, Rebecca and Lisa Smith’s child minder for many years.
Throughout 2016 the team at Smiths organised a number of fundraising events including a Family Fun Day and a Quiz Night. More information on upcoming events in 2017 will be available soon.
